Fine
By Kit Macdonald

As Pitchfork pointed out in their extremely complimentary review of her 2024 debut LP Rocky Top Ballads: "There must be something in the water in Copenhagen, where for the past few years a cohort of rising artists have been making sublime, hyperreal songs in singer-songwriter mode, but from an electronic background." Stop us if you think you've heard this story before, but Fine Glindvad Jensen is a graduate of Copenhagen's Rhythmic Music Conservatory who is now making superb electronic folk music – yes, just like ML Buch, Astrid Sonne, Clarissa Connelly, Molina and several others.
Fine first came to prominence as the lead vocalist of the electro-pop trio CHINAH, a group she co-founded in 2014 that blends folk, classical, and electronica elements, before striking out on her own a couple of years back. An exciting talent from one of the most fascinating and fertile little scenes out there.
