Ambient, alternative R&B, leftfield pop, hip hop, grime and avant-garde composition collide gloriously in the shape of Florence Sinclair, a London-born singer-songwriter and sound artist whose work originally grew from experimentation with ambient composition, and in recent times has evolved towards vocal-led electronic music.

Heavily involved with the UK capital's experimental and queer underground scenes, Sinclair’s work explores identity, embodiment and transformation through sound. Their music is exploratory and deeply introspective, and balances an experimental soul with melody and emotional clarity. Live, Sinclair's tracks dissolve into one another, vocals often drifting in and out of processed electronics to create a feeling akin to a late-night DJ set or ambient performance rather than a conventional "band" show.
