Fritanga! Rumba i Tapeo
By Charlotte Stace

It’s August in Barcelona and you’re struggling to find plans? We have the solution. Try Fritanga! Rumba i Tapeo, an open-air summer music series at Poble Espanyol celebrating Catalan rumba, tapas and cocktails.
Held every Saturday evening in August, it features live performances by top Barcelona rumba bands including Piratas Rumbversions, Alma de Boquerón, Vergüenza Ajena, and Sabor de Gràcia, as well as DJ sets (from DJ Mandango, DJ Morocha Selector and DJ Txarly Brown) taking us into the night.
Alongside the music, you’ll be able to enjoy mojitos, tinto de verano, and a selection of Catalan tapas including fritanga-style fried foods, and relaxing in Poble Espanyol’s Village space before, during and after shows. Doors open at 7pm and the concerts start at 8.30pm.
