Hinds 2025
By Charlotte Stace
Spanish indie rock band Hinds comes to Sala Apolo. Although forming in Madrid in 2011, they took a breather until 2013 after struggling to make ends meet. But they started over, and put their first two songs, “Trippy Gum” and “Bamboo”, up on Bandcamp. These songs caught NME’s attention, leading to their first sold-out show in London.
It wasn’t until 2016 that they released their debut studio album, Leave Me Alone. Then came I Don't Run (2018) and The Prettiest Curse (2020). Now they’re back with a new album, Viva Hinds (2024), which blends their signature guitar-pop sound with fresh influences for a more vibrant, inclusive vibe on stage.
Known for their garage rock, garage pop, and lo-fi energy, Hinds draws inspiration from icons like Black Lips, The Strokes and Mac DeMarco. Don’t miss the chance to see them live - grab your tickets now.
