HOPE pres: Beach Party with Hot Since 82

Hold Beach Club's stellar summer of international guests shows no sign of slowing down, with the much-loved South Yorkshire-born house DJ and producer Hot Since 82, aka Daley Padley, the latest big name to play on the sand in Sitges. Padley has been intimately involved in electronic music since before he was old enough to get into a club, with his first residency starting when he was 17. The keener mathematicians among you will have realised that that means he's celebrating 25 years in the game this year, and the wealth of experience and dancefloor knowledge he has amassed in that quarter-century behind the decks is audible in every set.
An equally venerable fixture on the Athens scene will also play, in the shape of Viton, and local selector GIVIO completes the bill. For the uninitiated, Hola Beach Club is a half-hour drive or a short and picturesque train ride from Barcelona, and the organisers also run a shuttle bus service costing 4€. The club has a top-notch Funktion-One soundsystem and, they are keen to point out, none of the sound restrictions that apply in the city.
