IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (Barcode)

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (Barcode) shows true commitment to being (largely) un-Googleable, but it's been a going concern for not far off a decade now, and has developed slowly and fascinatingly, completely apart from the traditional music scene. He describes his music as "brainjazz" – a pleasing reference to and development of the "braindance" genre appended by Richard D. James (aka Aphex Twin) and Grant Wilson-Claridge to the music released on their Rephlex Records label.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII's "brainjazz" sits somewhere between IDM, ambient, glitch, jazz, and, yes, braindance. This show is part of his EU2026 Tour, and will consist of an A/V live show in which these textured sounds are combined with glitch visuals by artist Thomas Collet to create an immersive environment perfect for Casa Monjuic's intimate environs.
