Island beats ( Day Party )
By Charlotte Stace

Island Beats brings us a tropical party built around Caribbean and Afro-diasporic club sounds. After previous late-night editions, they’ve changed things up with a party centred on the golden hour from 5pm to 11pm.
It’s rooted in the Afro-Caribbean club sounds: dancehall (Jamaica’s club sound), shatta (a style that grew out of the French Caribbean), konpa (Haitian dance music), plus bouyon and soca (carnival-inspired styles) and more. If you’re after a dancefloor that leans into Afro genres and the crowd that comes with them, this is one event for you. Hosted by Le Host, they keep the formula simple: warm weather, tropical tunes and a crowd ready to dance from the first beat until the last.
Tickets are €7.99 on earlybird, with €15 on the door. It’s a fun way to close off the Summer holidays with one venue, one mood, and a great lineup.
