Jeff Mills at Soundit

After a highly successful tenth anniversary season at Plaza Monumental de Barcelona, Soundit heads back to Parc del Forum for this party, which brings together one of the true creators of techno in Jeff Mills, pictured, plus a sterling list of support DJs all of whom owe much to Mills's pioneering work in Detroit from the 1980s onwards.
Anyone with even a passing interest in the history of techno will need no introduction to Mills. Also known as "the Wizard", Mills formed Underground Resistance alongside Robert Hood and Mike Banks in the late 80s but left in the early 90s to pursue what has been a wildly successful solo career through which he has been a guiding light of the genre and maintained his reputation as one of the most vital live and DJ performers out there.
Support comes from Berlin-based pair Objekt and CCL, who go b2b, the Cairo-born, Barcelona-based Jehia, American artistic and musical polymath Juliana Huxtable and the rising, Luxembourg-born DJ Ogazón. Door times are 5pm to 3am and at the time of writing third-release and group tickets are still available on Resident Advisor.
