Jéssica Gaspar
By Charlotte Stace

Brazilian artist Jéssica Gaspar is known for her unique fusion of bossa nova and afrohouse. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro’s Cidade de Deus and trained at CUFA, she combines her bold voice with a variety of rhythms and a powerful stage presence.
Her musical career began with the 2022 singles “Capim Dourado” and “Vão Ter Que Pagar.” In 2023, she released her debut EP “AMOR”, a collection of tracks that put a modern spin on MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). Then, in 2024 she broke through internationally with “Brisa,” an afrohouse hit that’s racked up millions of streams and opened doors for her to collaborate with top producers, perform on global stages and reach new audiences across continents.
She creates a space where bossa nova meets afrohouse, a perfectly unique musical powerhouse we didn’t know we needed. Don’t miss her live at Jamboree this week.
