Jive Mother Mary
By Charlotte Stace

Jive Mother Mary brings their Southern rock and blues sound to Jamboree for a night of good old-fashioned rock ’n’ roll. Hailing from Burlington, North Carolina, the American trio draw on classic rock, vintage soul, gospel and garage, with a sound that’s deeply rooted in the American South.
Formed by guitarist and vocalist Mason Keck and drummer Seth Aldridge, and joined by bassist Will Lowe, the band have built their reputation through years of touring and incredible live performances. They've played across 35 US states and nine countries, sharing stages with the likes of ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Buddy Guy, Foreigner and Blackberry Smoke.
For this gig, they're joined by pedal steel guitarist Aaron Feder, adding another taste of Americana to their bluesy sound. Opening the night is New Zealand blues-rock musician Dylan Cloud, performing songs from his latest EP, Nowhere Near Done.
