Catalan trio KIW are redefining 21st-century jazz with an interesting fusion of jazz, funk, hip-hop and electronic music. Formed while studying at Berklee and The New School, members Pau, Artur and Ferran use improvisation and technology to create a unique sound - their “fourth member” is the computer, which they treat as a full creative partner.

Having released their debut album It’s Not About Me (2023) and the Cosmosis Vol. 1 EP (2024), they dropped the second part of their conceptual universe in 2025 with a full LP featuring tracks like “KOMUSŌ”, where they take us on something that feels like a futuristic cosmic journey through time and space. 

And if you haven’t seen them live, it’s an amazing experience blurring the lines between stage and audience. They say: “We want to break the idea of the artist on stage and their distant relationship with the audience. We much prefer the idea of inviting someone to have an experience with us”.
