Las de Barcelona

Start your August the right way, with a jazz performance at Jamboree! Las de Barcelona will perform their show-stopping jazz rhythms at Jamboree in Placa Reial this coming Sunday 1st August. Formed of Eva Fernández (sax and vocals), Magalí Datzira (double bass and vocals), Lucía Fumero (piano and vocals), David Xirgu (drums), Angie Obbin (flute), Joan Mar Sauqué (trumpet - they won’t disappoint!
The group is relatively new, forming around 6 months ago at the Barcelona jazz joint, Robadors 23 Club in El Raval. Now, the musicians form a band without a leader and have made a repertoire of their own compositions based on a number of musical genres inspired by the sounds of Latin America Latin America.
To open the Mas i Mas Festival ’21, Las de Barcelona have prepared a gala session for all to enjoy.
