A master of dark, dank club music of more than two decades standing, Ivan Smagghe feels like a perfect booking for one of the city's most refreshingly dark and dank (in all the best possible ways) club spaces. Smagghe, who was born in Paris but has been based in London for many years, arrived on the scene in the late 90s as one half of the dark disco duo Black Strobe.

With a wealth of intriguing collaborations and solo projects under his belt in the time since, Smagghe's style as a DJ and producer has become infinitely more subtle and nuanced since the days of Black Strobe's EBM-influenced synth-rock belters. However, he still very much knows when to put experimentation to one side and concentrate on moving feet on the dance floor.

Uruguay is heavily represented among the support DJs, with the London-based Raphael Carrau and the Barcelona-based EMilio both originally hailing from Montevideo. Barcelona's Lyonel completes the bill.
