Spanish DJ Lis Sarroca comes to perform live at Sala Upload. The DJ has been described as energetic, innovative and eclectic - yet we’d go as far to call her music prolific. In recent years, the budding DJ has been propelling herself into the spotlight.
To create her music, she draws on influences from her half Spanish, half Mexican background, and sprinkles in flavours from Barcelona, the city she currently calls home. Whether tuning in to one of her genre melding DJ sets around Europe and beyond, her storytelling online mixes for the likes of HÖR Berlin and Rinse FM, or whether you find yourself absorbing her tight and emphatic productions - you will undoubtedly feel the powerful Sarroca effect.
Over a decade of playing records has certainly paid off for the rising star. She has gained approval and support from some of the biggest names in the business: Cinthie, The Blessed Madonna, Disclosure, Ian Pooley, Dj Haus, Jimpster and Demuja.
