Mart'nália
By Charlotte Stace
Brazilian singer, songwriter, percussionist and actress, Martnália Mendonça Ferreira, known professionally as Mart'nália, comes to Barcelona to perform live at Sala Apolo.
With music running in her family - she is the daughter of sambista Martinho da Vila and singer Analia Mendonca - it’s not surprising that she went on to follow in the family tradition and become a musician in her own right. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she has been surrounded by music since day one. With success after success, she has gone on to win two Latin Grammys for Best Samba Album with the albums Mart'nália Canta Vinicius de Moraes (2019) and Misturado (2017).
To date, the musician has recorded 13 studio albums and now begins a new international tour to promote her latest album, Sou Assim até Mudar (2021). Don’t miss her performing live.
