Jamaican-American multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Masego comes to perform live at Razzmatazz. The musician is famous for incorporating the saxophone into his music, creating what he calls TrapHouseJazz.

He grew up with parents who were pastors and has stated that attending church with family and the local community helped him to practise music and learn from other talented musicians. Aside from this, he attributes Lukky (DJ PLM), John P. Kee, Andre 3000 and Cab Calloway as influences.

He released two EPs in 2016: ‘The Pink Polo’ and ‘Loose Thoughts’. Following this, he gained widespread attention with his collaborative record with FKJ called ‘Tadow’ in 2017 and, in 2018, he released his debut album Lady Lady to critical acclaim. His second studio album Studying Abroad: Extended Stay was nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards in the Best Progressive R&B Album category. Now, he is touring once more to promote his most recent self-titled album, which was released last year.
