Meeting point
By Charlotte Stace
The trio Meeting Point comes to perform live at Jamboree Jazz Club. Consisting of Marcelo Woloski (on percussion), Andrés Beeuwsaert (keyboards and vocals), and Rodrigo G. Pahlen (harmonica, piano and guitar), this promises to be an exciting evening of live music.
Contributing to the vibrant contemporary music scene, this trio stands out for its individual talents: Pahlen, known for collaborating with Fito Páez and recording with artists such as Richard Bona and Al di Meola; Beeuwsaert, co-founder of the trio Acá Seca; and Woloski, the percussionist of the band Snarky Puppy.
Merging jazz with Argentine and Uruguayan folklore, this ensemble offers an exhilarating listening experience, where the boundaries between genres such as tango, jazz and candombe dissolve, creating an innovative sound. Their music offers a dialogue between tradition and modernity, showing their connection with the diverse cultures they each come to represent.
