Mississippi Gospel Choir

The Mississippi Gospel Choir comes to perform live at La Factoría Cultural de Terrassa. Made up of some of the best voices in Mississippi, this choir manages to capture the history of gospel in a unique journey through the roots of a genre that fuses the visceral and the spiritual like no other.
They will take us on a gospel journey from the spirituals of the 19th century, with deep religious roots, to a tribute to protest songs and marches for freedom. They’ll bring us some of the great gospel songs, such as Jesus Loves Us, When the Saints Go Marching In, A Change is Going to Come, Oh Happy Day, and many more.
This choir has been touring the US and Europe for years as ambassadors of gospel music. Thanks to their personal style and powerful performances, they’ve earned excellent reviews at festivals and international tours, making them one of the best representatives of American gospel.
