Music Book Festival

Book Music Festival is Barcelona’s international fair dedicated to music books and music culture. It attracts lovers of anything from artist biographies and scene histories to niche criticism and music photography. It blends a book-fair atmosphere with a festival programme, so you can browse stands and then stay for talks, debates and live events.
Alongside the fair, the festival puts a spotlight on music journalism and visual culture, including an award celebrating a major long-running music publication and the craft of reporting. There’s also a Live Music Photo Contest (highlighting how under-recognised gig photography can be) plus a Music Short Story Award for writing inspired by music.
