Nou Barris Flamenco Festival 2026
By Charlotte Stace

Desvarío Flamenco returns to Nou Barris with a programme that treats flamenco as something alive and rooted in tradition. Integrated into Grec Festival, the 2026 edition brings together concerts and conversation, making the neighbourhood a summer meeting point for flamenco lovers.
The festival is an example of today's flamenco scene: rich, diverse, and performed by artists who move freely in the tense balance that unites tradition with the avant-garde.This year’s programme includes artists such as Leonor Leal, Antonio Moreno, Juan Jiménez, David Lagos, Alfredo Lagos, Antonio Fernández, Pedro de Dios, José Sánchez, Pelomono, Mariví Blasco and Israel Galván. Highlights range from intimate cante and guitar to flamenco meeting blues, plus La edad de oro, Galván’s celebrated experiment at the edges of the form.
Alongside the performances, there will be a series of workshops and talks aimed at spreading flamenco culture and knowledge.
