An unmissable Thursday-night appointment at Gracia's venerable Heliogabal venue here as the Russian-Estonian artist Alina Astrova, aka Inga Copeland and Lolina, arrives to play a solo shop in the latter guise. Astrove was born in Samara, Russia, but her family (very sensibly) left for Tallinn, Estonia, when she was a child. At 17, she moved to London to study art criticism at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, which is where her creative life truly began.

From 2007 on she collaborated with the brilliant Dean Blunt on their Hype Williams project, and she released and played live as Inga Copeland and Copeland around those years too. In recent times she has settled into the Lolina moniker, and on the live stage she creates hard-to-pin-down sound collages that incorporate raw electronics, experimental pop and minimalist ambience.
