Panic shack

Welsh punk-rock band Panic Shack comes to Sala Upload. Formed in 2018, their lineup features Sarah Harvey (vocals), Meg Fretwell and Romi Lawrence (guitars), Emily Smith (bass) plus Nick Doherty-Williams on drums. Since there were no all-female bands in their hometown of Cardiff, they decided to form one. In fact, Fretwell bought her first guitar on their way to their first rehearsal.
After a couple of years forming their sound, they released the singles "Jiu Jits You" and "I don't Really Like It" in 2020 which gained them some traction. But they exploded onto the scene with their debut EP “Baby Shack” in 2022. Now, they’re touring following the release of their full-length, self-titled album Panic Shack (2025), which really ramps things up and went straight to No.1 On The UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
Lyrically, Panic Shack mixes biting wit with insightful observations, covering anything from body image and friendship to gender dynamics. And, of course, it’s all wrapped in party-punk chaos.
