Berlin-based Ukrainian sound and visual artist Pavel Milyakov is widely known for his Buttechno alias, under which he has become a much-respected force on the international techno scene. His music under his given name is far moire introspective and experimental, focused on ambient, abstract sound and sensory exploration, all of it world away from the dancefloor on which he has primarily made his name.
His sets as Pavel Milyakov are striking audio-visual experiences that make full use of his parallel skills as a visual artist and take things far beyond the traditional realm and boundaries of live music. Howodd Bensonmum plays a warm-up DJ set from 8.30pm and Milyakov's set starts at 9.30pm.
