Ray Collins’ Hot Club

Germany’s hottest jazz and swing band, Ray Collins' Hot Club, comes to perform at Sala Apolo as part of the A Wamba Buluba 11th Anniversary event.
Made up of nine musicians, they play to perfection a mixture of 1940s and 50s jump-blues, swing, jive and rock' roll music. Their electric energy and authenticity shines through, while they’re also adept at developing their own music style and compositions. The result is extremely enjoyable and entertaining performances from one of the best big bands currently on the scene.
Many of the musicians in this German group have been playing together since the 1980s. However, it wasn't until 2000 that they formed the Ray Collins' Hot-Club. Since then, they’ve performed all over the world and released a whopping seven studio albums. Now they’re back on the road, bringing new music and good vibes with them.
