Sagrada Família Free Entry La Mercè

La Mercè comes with plenty of reasons to love the city, and getting inside the Sagrada Família for free is one of them. As part of the festivities, the basilica opens its doors for free, inviting us in to take a closer look at Gaudí’s masterpiece.
The route takes in the Nativity façade, the basilica interior, the liturgical pathway, museum and Passion façade. This year also brings the photography exhibition The Strength of a Shared Dream, which has been created for the Year of Gaudí. It traces the people and milestones that have kept the Sagrada Familia’s development moving across generations.
There’s also something new to spot this year: three sculptures destined for the Chapel of the Assumption, including Sant Josep Oriol, Sant Roc and an angel that will eventually crown its dome. Head over to the Sagrada Família’s website, where you can register for entrance.
