Sam Garrett
By Charlotte Stace
For some, spiritual activities are simply a momentary escape from the chaos of daily life. But for the English singer-songwriter Sam Garrett, they’re a way of life. After devoting his life to Eastern philosophy, mediation, yoga and Rastafari, he decided to encompass this in his music, with the aim of uplifting and inspiring the hearts and souls of people around the world.
Garrett grew up around music, listening to bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, and at the age of nine began learning how to play guitar and writing his own music. He released his debut EP ‘Be Easy’ in 2013, followed by the second EP ‘Namaste’ in 2014 after moving to a yoga retreat in Glastonbury. In 2017, he released his first studio album, Grace, which he dedicated to the spiritual master Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharishi and Mooji.
After releasing his most recent album Forward to Zion (2023), he’s back with a new European tour. Get your tickets now.
