Opportunities to get down outdoors are one of the more fun parts of life in Barcelona, and the SoundEat! gatherings have cornered the family friendly daytime events with aplomb. Numbers are swelling with each edition, as thousands of party people make their way over to the expansive esplanades of the Fòrum to enjoy sets by finely curated DJs and producers.
For the latest event, SoundEat! extends an invitation to one of the undisputed godfathers of house, New York staple François Kevorkian, resident at legendary spots the Paradise Garage and Studio 54. Fast emerging Scotsman Jasper James provides support, with the blissful sounds of madrileños Baywaves and Catalan disco boss Deckard opening the proceedings. Minimúsica promise diversion for junior ravers, while the selection of food trucks is also a big draw.
The cooler airs that come with September will make for a more than pleasant afternoon, and tickets are eminently affordable
