British jazz musician Sultan Stevenson comes to Jamboree to perform with his band - Joel Waters on drums and Jacob Gryn on bass.

Stevenson’s journey into the exciting world of jazz is a testament to his dedication and incomparable talent. From his early education at some of the most prestigious music institutions, to his explosion into the London jazz scene, he has shown an impressive ability to capture the imaginations of audiences around the world with his skillful and heartfelt piano concerts. 

His influences, which range from the legendary McCoy Tyner to Ahmad Jamal, are shown in his piano playing style. They also resonate with both the depth of tradition and newness of contemporary jazz. His debut album, Faithful One (2023), features an eclectic variety of collaborations with musicians, and has not only invited critical acclaim across the board, but also showcased his potential as a leading figure in jazz.
