Amsterdam's Interstellar Funk, real name Olf van Elden, put together a compilation a few years ago called Artificial Dancers - Waves of Synth that was recognised as an instant classic, gathering together obscure, hard-to-find cold-wave gems by the likes of Chris & Cosey and Liaisons Dangereuses.

The compilation's immaculate curation pointed up both Van Elden's skill as a selector and his deep love for analogue synths, which can be heard on his own excellent records for labels such as Rush Hour, Dekmantel, Berceuse Heroique and L.I.E.S. This DJ set will delve into textured, rich, dusty drums and synths while maintaining the kinetic dance floor energy that has made him a key player in his electro and techno-steeped home city. Support comes from Barcelona-based Argentinian producer Tunik.
