By Charlotte Stace

The 44th Terrassa Jazz Festival returns with a series of concerts featuring both established and emerging jazz musicians. Once more, the festival presents a diverse lineup that spans generations and styles.
This year’s program showcases an eclectic mix of Catalan jazz artists alongside international acts, ensuring a rich and evolving musical experience that honours the rich jazz heritage, while embracing contemporary influences.
There’ll be 60 concerts and activities across 27 locations, bringing together over 200 musicians. Nova Jazz Cava serves as the festival’s main venue, hosting performances such as Sullivan Fortner’s trio, the debut of Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and standout artists like Camille Thurman and Ekep Nkwelle. European jazz is also highlighted with performances from Dutch gypsy jazz guitarist Mozes Rosenberg and Italian saxophonist Max Ionata. Blues Night welcomes British artist Albie Donnelly and Supercharge, adding a classic blues touch to the program. Head over to the event’s website to see the full program and buy tickets.
