Get ready for an unconventional Christmas night with Catalan rockers Th’Booty Hunters, known for their fierce fusion of punk-fuelled country and gritty rock energy.
Their Christmas concert isn’t your traditional seasonal soirée, it’s described as an “auditory desecration” of rusty twangs, snarling riffs and raucous sound.They formed in the Baix Llobregat area in 2010 and have carved out a unique sound that blends country, bluegrass, punk, rock and metal into what they describe as “garrulograss”. They twist banjo, guitar and drums into an explosive blend that’s part honky-tonk, part punk riot, all coming together with smoky vocals and a big attitude.
After the main set there’s an aftershow at Sala CINC, extending the party late into the night. This is a gig for anyone who’d prefer to choose loud live music and headbanging over Christmas carols.
