Renowned musician and professional skateboarder Tommy Guerrero is known for his unique fusion of downtempo, art rock and jazz. His music is celebrated for its soulful guitar work and eclectic blend of genres.
Born in San Francisco, Guerrero began his musical journey in the late 1970s, playing with his brother Tony. He gained prominence as a member of the skate rock band Free Beer, and later with the post-rock instrumental group Jet Black Crayon. Embarking on a solo career, he released several critically-acclaimed albums, including Loose Grooves & Bastard Blues (1998), A Little Bit of Somethin' (2000) and Soul Food Taqueria (2003). Each of his records is a surprise, with elements of rock, jazz, Latin, folk, world music and trip-hop.
