Tycho 2025

The San Franciscan musician Scott Hansen, known professionally as Tycho, comes to perform at Sala Apolo. Known for his electronic compositions that encourage both introspection and movement, his music aims to transport listeners to nostalgic soundscapes. His sound has been influenced by and compared to artists such as DJ Shadow, Ulrich Schnauss and Boards of Canada.
His debut album, Past Is Prologue (2006), introduced his signature blend of music, weaving together downtempo guitar, analogue synthesis and ambient textures like breathing and weather broadcasts. Over the years, Tycho has achieved significant milestones, including two Grammy nominations and entries on the Billboard 200 chart. His latest album, Infinite Health (2024), co-produced with Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, aims to "create a space for healing and reflection."
