LA's untitled (halo) make music shaped by shoegaze, trip-hop and DIY culture – hazy, restless and a little surreal. Comprising Ariana Mamnoon, Jack Dione, Jay Are and Nicholas Noneman, untitled (halo) emerged from Southern California's DIY community and have established a knack for turning fragments of everyday life into woozy, emotionally ambiguous songs.
Their debut album, which is due to come out in early November on Dirty Hit, is named after the mini-genre they have created – California Melancholia – and explores memory, identity and the mythology of life in LA. Deaf Star and Bianca Lexis support, doors are at 7.45pm, and tickets are available on Dice.
