Vinocio Quintet
By Charlotte Stace

Emerging from Argentina’s independent scene, the Buenos Aires collective Vinocio Quintent mixes soul, R&B, hip-hop and funk together to create their unique sound. Originally started as a duo by Buenos Aires musicians Lucio Memi and Fermín Carpena, over the years they’ve expanded to become a quintet with the incredibly talented Juan Duque, Iván Chapuis and Fer Moreno.
Their catalogue charts their evolution through Me estás haciendo mal (2021), Awah (2022) and 2025’s Tostados, an exploratory record that caught the attention of influential DJ Gilles Peterson. Songs like “Cabo”, “Tostados” and “Cash” stand out while the band have shared bills with Kamasi Washington, BADBADNOTGOOD and Brazilian legend Marcos Valle. This show closes their 2026 European tour, bringing Vinocio back to Marula after several years away from Barcelona.
