The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya is one of cycling’s great week-long stage races. First held in 1911, it’s now a UCI WorldTour fixture that brings the sport’s top teams to Catalunya every spring, mixing coastal roads, inland crosswinds and Pyrenean climbing before the traditional Barcelona finale.

For 2026 (the 105th edition), the race runs over seven stages and covers a wide sweep of the region including areas like Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Figueres; Costa Daurada, Mataró, La Molina and Barcelona. The race also includes fast-paced flat and rolling stages, making it a true test of versatility and endurance.
