Wodcelona 2026
By Charlotte Stace

Wodcelona returns as the city’s inclusive fitness throwdown, bringing CrossFit-style competition, community spirit and serious athletics together by the sea. This is an incredible sporting event that’s built around the idea that functional fitness should be open to more bodies, more levels and more ways of competing.
This year’s edition includes 24 categories across age, level and format, with 15 adaptive divisions, putting inclusion right at the centre. There is also a Wodcelona Hybrid Challenge, mixing endurance and strength through runs, burpee broad jumps, sandbag carries, ski erg, lunges, sled pulls and wall balls. It’s certainly not for the faint-hearted.
Aside from the workouts, Wodcelona is a non-profit event supporting Limited Edition Athletes, an organisation promoting adapted functional fitness for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups. Whether you’d like to take part, or simply head down to watch events and show support, this is a fun and family-friendly day out.
