Alimentaria is Barcelona’s headline food and drinks trade show - the place where brands, distributors, importers, retailers and foodservice buyers come to do deals, spot new products, and survey the global market.

With more than 3,000 exhibiting companies from 57 countries and around 100,000 visitors, pretty much every corner of the food world shows up: everyday grocery brands, restaurant suppliers, bakery and pastry specialists, snacks and confectionery, plus organic and premium producers. It’s a rare chance to see the full spectrum in one place, from big staples to fine-foods.

Participants confirmed for the 2026 edition include Damm and Grupo Ybarra Alimentación, alongside international names such as Walmart, Sonae, Bidfood, KeHE, PriceSmart and BigBasket. If you like food (or work in it), this is the kind of fair where you can taste, talk, and compare.
