B100 Nose Race
By Charlotte Stace

The B100 Cursa dels Nassos is Barcelona’s most joyful way to say goodbye to the year - a festive street race that turns New Year’s Eve into a city-wide celebration. Open to runners of all levels, it’s famous for its flat, speedy route and its buzzing atmosphere, where serious athletes, first-timers and fancy-dress runners all share the same stretch of tarmac.
Named after the Catalan tradition of the “Home dels Nassos” - the mythical man with as many noses as days left in the year - the race is packed with humour, music and support for the runners. Spectators line the streets to cheer and ring in the end of December.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply want to give it a go and get involved in all the excitement, this race is less about competition and more about community, and finishing the year on a triumphant, feel-good high.
