British singer and songwriter Birdy comes to perform live at Sala Apolo. After winning the music competition Open Mic UK in 2008 at the age of 12, the young singer burst onto the scene and started gaining a fan base. Her debut single, a cover version of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love", was her breakthrough, charting all across Europe and earning platinum certification six times in Australia.

Following this success, in 2011 she released her self-titled debut album which peaked at number one in Australia, Belgium and the Netherlands. Her second studio album, Fire Within, was released in 2013 which also garnered the young singer more fame. At the 2014 Brit Awards, she was nominated for Best British Female Solo Artist and in 2016 she released her third studio album, Beautiful Lies.
