Club Aura: Lena Willikens & Melina Serser

A stellar lineup here for the second edition of Club Aura, which brings top-quality live acts and DJs to Casa Montjuic and LAUT for six hours, with a Sunday-friendly finishing time of midnight. There's a Dutch flavour to the proceedings in Casa Montjuic, where there will be a DJ set from Paduan, aka Patric Kimman, who, we are reliably informed, will be "methodically mediating immeasurable madness". There's also a live set from DOC, aka David Cazalla, whose music consistently tends towards the mind-bending, ritualistic and hypnotic. Live visuals in Casa Montjuic from Clara Cortés.
In LAUT, meanwhile, we have two superb selectors, one of whom needs very little in the way of introduction – it's Lena Willikens, the longtime Salon des Amateurs resident renowned as one of the deepest and most unpredictable DJs out there. Also playing – possibly b2b with Willikens, possibly not – is Uruguay's Melina Serser, whose way with a sonic tapestry will be the perfect complement to Willikens, whatever shape the night takes.
