American guitarist Cory Wong brings his funk to Razzmatazz. A Grammy-nominated guitarist, composer and producer, he blends jazz-level technique with funk, pop and soul instincts.
Originally from Minneapolis, he rose to international attention through Vulfpeck, where his rhythm guitar style and magnetic stage presence helped shape the band’s sound. Since then, he has built a prolific solo career, moving between funk, instrumental fusion and collaborations with artists including Jon Batiste, Chromeo, Billy Strings, Victor Wooten, Bruce Hornsby and The Jonas Brothers.
Some of his most notable solo albums include: Cory and The Wongnotes (2021), Wong's Cafe (2022), The Lucky One (2023), Starship Syncopation (2024), and his most recent release, Lost in the Wonder (2026).
