DNIT: Astrid Sonne
By Kit Macdonald

The Denmark-born, London-based singer and composer Astrid Sonne has made a series of great, off-kilter pop records in the past few years, since graduating from Copenhagen's Rhythmic Music Conservatory. If that story sounds eerily familiar, it should: ML Buch, Erika de Casier, Clarissa Connelly and Molina are among the other women who studied at that classically focused institution and are now making waves with electronic music music that's adventurous, restless and delightful to listen to all at once.
Dulce, an excellent and highly imaginative Colombian DJ based in Barcelona, plays in the bar area of Caixaforum from 8pm and Sonne is onstage in the auditorium at 10pm. Given the buzz around Sonne's last record, 2024's wonderful Great Doubt, it's a surprise that some tickets, at DNIT's deliciously low flat rate of €10, are still available for this – don't hesitate to snap them up.
