Foster the People burst onto the scene in 2010 with their hit single “Pumped Up Kicks”, which quickly became a generational soundtrack. Formed in Los Angeles in 2009, the group’s members include founder and frontman Mark Foster and keyboardist Isom Innis. 

Their debut album Torches (2011) earned Grammy nominations and commercial success. This was followed by Supermodel (2014) and Sacred Hearts Club (2017), where they evolved their sound with funkier, more psychedelic experimental layers. Since then, they’ve maintained a loyal fanbase and racked up over 8 billion global streams along the way.

After a hiatus following covid to work on personal projects, they’re back together with a new record, Paradise State of Mind (2024), and touring globally again.
