For the metal rock lovers out there, this one’s for you. American singer and songwriter, Geoff Tate, comes to perform live at Razzmatazz as a part of his latest musical tour.
Tate rose to fame with the progressive metal band Queensrÿche, who enjoyed great success with their 1988 album Operation: Mindcrime, as well as their 1990 album, Empire. Yet, in 2012, Tate was fired from the band due to disagreements between members. Although he had released solo albums throughout his time Queensrÿche, he once more embarked on a solo musical career following the split and released Kings and Thieves in 2012.
To this day, Tate is still recognised as one of the greatest metal singers of all time. In fact, he was ranked second on That Metal Show's top 5 hard rock vocalists of the 1980s. What’s more, in 2012, he won the Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Award for ‘Voice in Progressive Heavy Metal’.
