GRLS are a Mexican alt-pop band whose sound draws on synth-pop's luxuriant gloss, indie rock's restless energy and emotionally intense contemporary pop. Mexican multi-instrumentalists and producers Lucca Necoechea and Diego Andlovin formed thor band in 2019, having met while studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Their debut album, GRLS I (2022), established an adventurous vibe that brings together elements of psychedelic pop, alternative R&B, trap and electronica. Subsequent releases, including 0792nitro and T.V ADDICT found them folding post-punk basslines, techno and Latin rhythms into an unpredictable, high-energy mix. Their 2026 EP Pink Lemonade adds further shades of trip-hop and cumbia to the picture, balancing organic instrumentation with digital textures. GRLS also create their own visual material, treating music videos, artwork and production as parts of a unified aesthetic, so this should be a visual treat as well as a musical one.
