The incredibly talented La Niña brings a hauntingly modern take on Neapolitan music to Razzmatazz. She blends ancestral music with electronic textures and poetry. The alter ego of Carola Moccia, she has quickly become one of the most distinctive voices in Italy’s avant-pop scene. Her work bridges the sacred and the everyday, drawing from folk, trap and Mediterranean influences.

She broke out into the mainstream with her debut record Vanitas (2023). But her latest album Furèsta (2025) - meaning “outsider” or “foreigner” in Neapolitan dialect - has really catapulted her into the limelight. Through it, La Niña explores her southern Italian roots while experimenting with synth-driven arrangements and layered vocal production. Each track becomes an act of reclamation and reinvention, rooted in feminine power and cultural memory.

La Niña embodies a new generation of artists redefining Italian pop through emotion and experimental sound.
