La Paloma meets Permanent Vacation
By Kit Macdonald

Munich's Permanent Vacation record label is one year short of its 20th birthday, and for the vast bulk of that time it has been one of Europe's best-loved and most essential destinations for melodic house, cosmic disco and soulful electronic music. Big-hitting singles and albums by names such as Lauer, John Talabot, Mano Le Tough, Red Axes and countless more have lit up a release schedule that's stayed remarkably strong and consistent over two decades.
Friday's label showcase at La Paloma is headlined by Lecce's Massimiliano Pagliara, a label associate for many years and its resident analogue synth whiz. Permanent Vacation cofounder Benjamin Fröhlich and Barcelona’s own Baldo play support sets. Early-access tickets (pre-1am entry) are free, and first-release tickets with a drink are available on RA at €15.
