La Paloma presents: Quantic

Will Holland, aka Quantic, has been very successfully juggling a dizzying array of musical styles, among them soul, funk, jazz, cumbia, reggae and electronic fusion, since the early 2000s, when he cut his teeth with the ever-reliable Brighton label Tru Thoughts. Holland is both a bandleader, with his various projects including ensembles such as The Quantic Soul Orchestra and Quantic Presenta Flowering Inferno, and a dedicated crate-digger, and you can expect to hear copious evidence of his more than two decades of total immersion in music in this DJ set in the grand environs of La Paloma.
Also on the bill are Mafalda, a native of Portugal but longtime fixture on the London scene, where she runs the Tropic of Love radio show and music label and specialises in elegant, emotional sets based on one founding principle: only play records you really, really love. Klara Missyle and Jazz K kick the evening off with a b2b set.
