L'Horror Film Fest
By Charlotte Stace

If you're a horror film fan, then this new film festival is a must for your calendar in April. Unlike other film festivals, L'Horror Film Festival spotlights horror cinema through a gender perspective, promoting diversity and inclusivity within the genre. This inaugural event aims to challenge conventions and offer fresh narratives that push the boundaries of horror.
A key feature is the Talent Novell Section, which is dedicated to screening the work of emerging filmmakers. Submissions are open to short films up to 20 minutes in length, with a focus on horror themes that also take into account a variety of gender perspectives.
Alongside this, there’ll be a selection of horror films to see, panel discussions to listen to and guest speakers visiting from the industry. But remember, the focal point of this festival is the blend between classic horror themes and contemporary, socially relevant storytelling. Niche, but a must for horror fans.
